Waiting Shed

Monday, August 11th, 2008

Just when tide waters started to recede, we began our inter-island walk for about one and a half hours from Pangan-an to Olango, two exotic islands belonging to Lapu-lapu City, Philippines . Right before dusk, we reached this waiting shed in the middle of the ocean on a flat coral bedrock.

What an adventure. I’m in need of some new surroundings as we speak. Thanks for getting my imagination going again.

The pleasure is mine PowderLover! I haven’t been to your beloved Steamboat in Colorado. But I was pretty close last year while visiting Yellowstone. Cheers to something we like in common - The Great Outdoors!

Hi neolle! From Cebu City, you can take a taxi to the pier beside Hilton Hotel in Mactan Island (1 hour). Take the boat to Olango Island reachable within 20 minutes, then take the tricycle to Suba (15 minutes). From here, you can start your inter-island walk to Pangan-an Island. Depending on your speed and tide waters, the walk will be 2 hours more or less. Sunset walk is best. Bring a friend. Enjoy!
