Jun and Jacks
Thursday, July 5th, 2007Visibility was fantastic and the sea was calm after that evening storm. Goats were aplenty, ditto with longfin banners. We saw huge humphead wrasse and bumphead parrots, surgeons and triggers, gargantuan sweetlips and groupers and a clown – a mammoth puffer laboriously flapping its pectoral and pelvic fins like a fat lady swaying its huge butt. It swam towards the blue yonder until it was far enough to disappear from sight… I thought that was the best this dive has to offer until I looked up to crystal clear bluish waters. There, a huge school of jacks circled in close formation against the backdrop of the midday sun.
Ah… life is beautiful! I thought to myself. And how else can hope spring so eternally in the human breast?

Thanks for visiting my blog!
Check mine out when you want to. Do you link?
Anyway, how long have you been diving? I only snorkel myself, and you don’t get to see as big a diversity where I used to snorkel before. -_-
